The Role
We are looking for a Creative Lead to own and elevate our visual identity across every customer touchpoint. Working closely with Matilda you’ll be responsible for interpreting her creative vision for the brand. You will bring campaigns to life and ensure everything we put into the world feels consistent, considered, and distinctive.
This role is for a multidisciplinary creative who can move confidently between big-picture brand thinking and hands-on design execution. Someone with strong taste, cultural awareness, and a sharp eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Brand and Creative Direction
• Own and evolve the MG&Co. visual identity, keeping it consistent across every channel and new markets.
• Turn Matilda’s vision and our brand strategy into compelling campaign concepts and visual storytelling.
• Build and maintain brand guidelines, templates and a well-organised asset library.
Campaigns and Shoots
• Concept and art direct regular photo and video shoots from start to finish: moodboards, shot lists, styling, props, sets, locations and on-set direction.
• Bring in your own network of external creative partners and freelancers.
• Ensure every shoot delivers to both commercial and creative requirements within the business.
Digital
• Design a range of assets that drive our marketing week to week: customer emails, CRM flows and paid advertising.
• Set the visual direction for social, with the Marketing Coordinator running day-to-day content.
• Own the visual identity of the website, from homepage and campaign updates to product imagery standards and page layouts.
• Design UX improvements to the site with the Marketing and Ecommerce team.
Physical Brand
• Lead creative for catalogues, printed collateral, packaging, gift wrap and inserts.
• Direct visual merchandising at the 194 Ebury Street shop, working with the store team on improving customer experience through creative updates and touch points.
• Design creative assets for events, pop-ups and experiential activity such as; logo design, fonts and graphic treatments, printed materials, signage, branded merchandise.
• Creative Direction for physical spaces for DTC and Trade; trade show stands, physical showroom spaces and retail spaces or pop-ups.
Team Leadership
• Line manage and develop our Junior Graphic Designer: set priorities, review work and support their growth.
• Work closely with the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager on delivering the creative calendar.
Skills required
• 5+ years in brand design or creative direction, including at least 1 year leading creative work and managing people or freelancers.
• A strong portfolio showing brand identity work, campaigns, e-commerce, and print or packaging.
• Experience directing photo and video shoots and producing content with external partners.
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; comfortable with Canva for team templates.
• Working knowledge of Klaviyo or similar CRM, enough to design for email
• Comfortable across digital, print and simple motion or video.
• Highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident communicator, able to interpret feedback, present ideas clearly, and collaborate across teams.
• Good to have: Photography and/or Videography shooting and editing skills
